Lets Face it, Blake Lewis is in a league of his own. From the moment we say him on American Idol we knew he would win it. His unique style is something NO past or present contestant on American Idol has.

First a little about Blake:

Blake Lewis was born on July 21, 1981 and he hails from Bothell, Washington, USA. Blake comes from Welsh, German, and Irish families. He has also been singing since he was only five years old. On 1999, Blake graduated from Inglemoor High School in Kenmore. He is a singer and songwriter. He currently sings for a local banned named "BShorty" and he is the beat boxing champion of Seattle. Blake has also performed in Kickshaw, a Seattle-based a cappella group and has also toured Europe with his youth choir.

He auditioned for "American Idol" at Seattle, Washington. During his audition, he sang to the beat of Seal's "Crazy." All the judges said yes, but Simon reminded him not to be too cocky. On March 8, 2007, Blake Lewis made the Top 12 on "American Idol."

 Blake's musical role models are: 311, Ella Fitzgerald, Bobby McFarren, Robin Thicke, Maroon 5, Duncan Shiek, Harry Connick, Jr., Jill Scott, Imogen Heap, Fiona Apple, BT, DJ Shadow, The Roots, Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Sting, Eric Benet, Tori Amos, Ben Folds, DJ Q-Bert, Gnarls Barkley, Moblaw, Common Market, Panda Conspiracy, Blue Scholars, Take 6, M-Pact, Faith SFX, Doxology, KJ Sawka, and all the other musicians he's been privileged to work with.

Blake's fan groups are named the Blaker Girls and the Blake Lewis Fans

Blake has 2 younger sisters, Sarah who's 20, and Katie who's 13. He also has a younger brother Chris, who's 17.

Blake Lewis, 25, is from Bothell, Washington. He started singing at age five but has no formal singing training. Blake, who is good at "beat boxing," also writes and produces music. He says he wants to tour the world someday.

According to Blake, the toughest obstacles in life are "The obstacles of life." If he coudn't sing, he would want to be able to act insted. Blake thinks his friends would be surprised to know that he has K-Fed's CD. His goals in life are to tour the world and to be on NBC's Saturday Night Live. Blake started to sing when he was only 5 years old. Blake thinks people would be surprised to know that he has a lot of tattoos.
